Here crystal clear and calm waters exhibit an incredibly rich marine life. Shore dives, boat dives, night dives, experienced or newly certified diver, we surely have a dive site for you.
Dive on the famous Second World War USAT Liberty wreck one of the most accessible and amazing wreck in the world. Explore shallow coral reefs, fly above vertiginous walls, drift along slopes swarming with fish or find the rare and mysterious critters on our muck dive sites. We have it all!
Bali Diversity has a team of experienced local and foreigner PADI Divemasters and Dive Instructors. They will take care of you always with a smile. Our team knows very well the dive sites of Amed/Tulamben and its surroundings. Therefore, you can trust them to show you the best while keeping you safe. We keep our dive groups small, never more than four divers per guide, to give you the best service.
Most of our dive sites start from shore but others are accessible only by boat. In order to sustain the local community, Bali Diversity uses the local fishermen boats, the Jukung, to dive. The full price of the boat rental goes to the boat owner. Boat diving allows us to access sites that are more pristine and preserved. So you can usually enjoy more fish life and less divers.
Night dives in our Amed and Tulamben area are worth trying. Our dive sites changed completely as the sun disappears and a multitude of new creatures comes out. Dive at night in Amed to see lots of macro life, invertebrates, squids, bobtail squids, cuttlefish, crabs, shrimps or morays. Try night diving on our muck sites to see a lot of strange creatures you will have trouble to find in ID books!
Dive the Liberty wreck at night to feel the excitement of visiting a Second World War ship at night! It becomes the hunting ground for massive marble groupers and giant moray eels. It is also the home to school of bumphead parrotfish who come and sleep inside the ship at night.

Please note: Maximum boat capacity is 2 divers + 1 divemaster for most areas as we use the traditional local fishing boats to sustain the livelihood of the local fishermen.
At Bali Diversity, we mostly dive the North East coast of Bali as most dive sites are within 30min reach from Bali Diversity Dive Resort. Dive sites around Amed, Tulamben, Seraya, Sidem & Kubu offer a great variety of dives for all levels from beginners to more experienced. The North Sea of Bali usually benefits from warm, clear and calm waters making it suitable to learn scuba diving. With wrecks, drifts, nights, reefs, mucks and more, you will always find a new spots to marvel or a new site to learn.
If you wish to stay in Amed and extend your diving possibilities. We do also organize Day Trips from Amed towards other dive sites in Bali such as Padangbai, Candidasa, Penida or Lembongan. If you are staying far from the diving areas of Bali such as Ubud or the South (Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu, Sanur…), we can always bring you to us.
