The PADI Instructor Development Course includes two main components. The first part is the AI (Assistant Instructor) course, and the second one is the OWSI (Open Water Scuba Instructor) course. Both put together train IDC candidates to teach academic presentations, confined water sessions & skills, and open water demonstrations. As a PADI Instructor candidate, you’ll also learn about the business of diving, risk management, marketing and any other topics relevant for a dive professional.

You will then be evaluated during the Instructor Exam (IE). A two-day examination where you will need to demonstrate adherence to PADI Standards & System of Diver Education, teaching skills & techniques as well as great safety & control.

You will become a PADI Professional, a member of the first diving organization in the world. An organization that gives you access to up to date training materials, assistance and jobs everywhere people dive!
